Background
Repression on Minorities
in Bangladesh
After the general election of 1st October 2001 the BNP-led coalition takes oath as the new government of Bangladesh. Since then Minorities (Hindu, Buddha and Christian community), and members, workers, and supporters of opposition parties (esp. Awami league) have been the target of BNP-led coalition, Islamic fundamentalists and opportunist miscreants.
Communal forces became active in such a horrible extent that has never been observed in the last 30 years of freedom. Terrorists are conducting heinous and barbaric attack on the innocent and helpless minorities.
These terrorists whoever they may be are the cruel beasts of Bangladesh. They are the threat to our democracy and freedom. As a sensible person, you can help this country coming out of darkness of mediaeval barbarism and prosper under the sun. Raise your voice against them, protest them, let the world know these evils and be free from violation and discrimination for cast, creed, race, and religion.
